Gopi P. Patel

Gopi P. Patel is a Senior Attorney in the Farmington Hills office and focuses her practice on general municipal law and civil litigation on behalf of municipal and other governmental bodies throughout the State of Michigan.

Licensed in 2013, Gopi began her career as a law clerk for the City of Dearborn before transitioning to immigration removal defense in Houston, Texas. In 2023, Gopi returned to the City of Dearborn as Assistant Corporation Counsel, where she was responsible for pre-suit litigation claims, insurance defense litigation, tax appeal matters, and general municipal matters.

Gopi graduated from University of Miami School of Law in Miami, Florida. She is licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan and admitted in all state and federal courts, including the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
