Jeremy D. Brown
Jeremy D. Brown is a Senior Attorney with the firm who specializes in civil litigation and ordinance prosecution. His areas of expertise include defending governmental entities and their employees in both state and federal courts and prosecuting civil infractions and misdemeanors.
During his tenure as Assistant Corporation Counsel and FOIA Coordinator for the City of Dearborn, Jeremy provided legal counsel regarding the daily administrative and operational requirements of one of Michigan's largest municipalities. He also secured dismissals of numerous cases in both state and federal courts. He has extensive experience applying the Governmental Tort Liability Act, having successfully litigated matters involving every statutory exception to the Act.
Jeremy graduated from Washington & Lee School of Law in Lexington, Virginia. He served as Law Clerk for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan under the Honorable Nancy G. Edmunds, the Honorable Paul D. Borman, and the Honorable Avern Cohn. He also volunteered for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of West Virginia and for the Wayne County Prosecutors Office.
