Thomas D. Beindit is an associate attorney practicing in the area of liability defense and providing general counsel to municipalities. He is experienced in all aspects of litigation and has extensive experience representing municipalities and employers in both state and federal courts.
During his career, Thomas has successfully litigated numerous cases involving civil rights, employment, free speech, discrimination, police conduct, torts, contracts, and wrongful death issues. He also has substantial experience with insurance coverage and the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Thomas is also a trained mediator.
Thomas is a graduate of Wayne State University Law School, where he was a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship. He also graduated from the University of Michigan with degrees in political science and psychology. In his free time, Thomas is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing guitar.
